The Japan Traditional Thai Massage Association is a public association
established with the objective in mind to popularize Thai massage,
and make people more aware of its existence and benefits.
There are many activities for people who have traditional Thai massage
skills, people who
have opened up salons and are practising, or people who are just
interested in learning more.
It is not an association out to make a profit, we genuinely want
to invite people to join and to learn and share more about traditional
Thai massage.
There is no obligation to join in the activities listed below, and
there is no costs or charges involved at all. The Japan Traditional
Thai Massage Association acts as the epicenter where activities
take place to increase the awareness of Thai massage in Japan.

The Nuad Bo'Rarn School Japan
Phone: 81-3-5790-8164
The association has opened its own affiliated traditional Thai
massage school "Nuad Bo'Rarn" as one way to popularize
this art. Every month, the school has a free trial seminar for
anyone interested to experience, and learn a little Thai massage.
We invite you to come along and try! We also have seminars happening
at irregular intervals which can be used to consult about opening
up salons, or exchange information with other members. For people
who have the traditional Thai massage qualifications and are
thinking about opening up their own shop, we recommend the Nuad
Bo'Rarn Advanced course and also the liability insurance we
can cover you with.

Under Japanese law, traditional Thai massage is
not recognized by the medical profession. However, it is possible
to open up a salon under the category of service profession. However,
one must not assume that all customers will be in a healthy state.
Stimulation is given by applying pressure, and it is possible that
an accident could occur. In Japan, if this kind of accident occurs,
it may be required that you pay some tens of million yen. For members
who would like to see the documentation on liability insurance,
please send us some mail, and we will send it out to you.
There are several specialists for the association. When a member
has some legal problem, please use the services of these lawyers.
Opening a salon requires taking a challenge. We want to make sure
our members also do this safely.
In addition to becoming a member, you may also sign up for the free
mail magazine (in Japanese).
Please fill out the below categories and then send it by mailto
the following address. If you request to be a member, we will send
a confirmation mail to you with your membership number and password
to access the messageboard (only in Japanese).
